Land Rover is delivering even more performance to the world’s most beautiful SUV, according to the World Car Design of the Year 2018. With more luxury and exclusivity, the brand launches the SVAutobiography Dynamic edition of the Range Rover Velar. Created to be the pinnacle of the Velar line, the new model was developed by Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations Division (SVO), equipped with a 5.0-liter 550-hp Supercharged V8 engine, and a host of unique design improvements. In addition to its exclusivity, this model will be available for purchase for only one year. Velar was elected World Car Design of the Year at the 2018 World Car Awards and is the second model of the Range Rover family to use the coveted emblem after the introduction of the Dynamic Range Rover SVAutobiography in 2017. With the supercharged V8 engine, the most powerful Velar accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds and is capable of reaching 274 km / h while pampering the occupants with the traditional refinement and comfort of the Range Rover family. The new grille and lower side frames combine with a revised rear bumper with an integrated four-way exhaust.
Even the Range Rover letters on the hood and back cover have been enhanced with a knurled finish on the metal lettering, adding a new degree of sophistication to its exterior. SVAutobiography Dynamic is also the only Velar available in Satin Byron Blue – a metallic paint from SVO’s Premium Palette line – and all models feature a contrasting ceiling in Narvik Black as standard. The distinctive aluminum wheels feature another feature for improved performance.
